The Unified Tow Brake Warranty Program was initiated to prevent excessive downtime for the customer. The warranty covers manufactured defects for a period of one year from the date of the original purchase. This Limited Warranty is specifically limited to the original purchaser of the product and is enforceable only by such original purchaser.

In the event of a defect in workmanship or material of the product, the Warrantor will repair or replace the product, or any defective part or parts thereof, at the election of the Warrantor, without charge to the consumer for such repair or replacement. However, this Limited Warranty shall not apply to material or other incidentals in connection with removal and/or replacement of such defective product on the Consumer?s vehicle.

The Unified Tow Brake Warranty Program includes labor for repair, replacement and/or trouble shooting. A schedule of allowable repair hours has been established and the hourly rate will be negotiable with the Warranty Department.

For each claim under the Warranty Program, a Warranty Repair Form must be submitted by the installing dealer along with the unit or parts replaced during the repair. The serial number of the unit and the date of purchase must be shown on the Warranty Repair Form. Verification that the unit is within the one (1) year warranty period is necessary. This can be done by contacting the factory to see if a warranty registration card is on file. If it is not, or if contact with the factory is not possible, then proof of purchase is necessary and must accompany the Warranty Repair Form. A copy of the invoice to the customer for labor and parts for repair or removal and replacement is also necessary to process the warranty claim.

Upon receipt of the returned parts or unit, U.S. Gear Corp. will verify the claim and issue credit accordingly.

It is very important that the Warranty Repair Form be completed. The information provides historical data so we may make improvements in our product, detect trends which need to be evaluated, and provide marketing information.

LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY: This Limited Warranty shall not apply and become null and void, in the event of damage to the product, resulting from any of the following: (1) Unauthorized repairs; (2) breakage due to dropping or misapplication; (3) repair, alteration, or modification of the product by anyone other than the manufacturer, or authorized representative thereof; (4) damage resulting from accidents; (5) abuse or misuse of the product in any manner whatsoever; (6) damage resulting from incorrect or improper installation. Under no circumstances shall the WARRANTOR be liable for any loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use of or inability to use, this product. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty last, or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. This warranty is the only warranty applicable and is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for purpose.
